Add

Add Diving School

In order to add a new diving school the user must go in the left side of the menu and choose the option Get Involved and then Add a Diving School. After that the user will be directed to a form. It is critical to search first if the diving school is already register.

Diving School form

The diving school form have optional and mandatory fields. The fields of the form are describe in the follow sections.

General

In the field Title the user adds the name of the diving school ex. Alpha Diving School. In the Logo field the user must hit the link in the right Upload file and choose image locally. The suggested size of the logo is maximum 300px. In the field Description the user adds a small description about his school and in the field Founding Year the year that the school open.

The fields Contact Person and Second Contact Person is for the name of the owner and/or a contact person. Last, in the field Training Organization, the user selects from the left side of the box the dive organization/s that his school supports.

Address

In the first field Area the user selects from a dropdown menu an area. The are 9 major areas that include the municipalities of Greece, a helping image, with the limits of each area, can be found here. In the field Municipality we select the municipality that schools belongs from a dropdown menu and in the field Post Code we write the postal code of. In the field Street Address we enter the street address of the diving school.

In the last section Coordinates the user adds, if already knows, the coordinates of his school, in a decimal format ex. 37.25600, 23.54802, in the field with the button Update map and then presses the button in order to update the map. If he doesn't know the coordinates adds his address in the the field with the button Look up coordinates and then presses the button in order to look for coordinates and update the map.

Contact

In the Contact section the user adds in fields the relevant information in order to be reachable from customers. In the last field Url user must enter the full path ex. http://diving.sail-la-vie.com/index.php?title=Help.

Images

The user can upload up to 3 images with suggested size of 500px maximum. In the right side of the field we hit the link Upload file and then we choose image locally. Each image has a caption where we can add a title or a small description.

Available Courses

In the section Available Courses the user hit the button Add another and a form with options appears. The first field is Select Organization where we select from a dropdown menu the dive organization for the course. Then, in the field Select Program, we select the program of the organization that depends in our previous choice. Same for the next field Select Course we select from the dropdown menu course based in our previous choice of Select Program.

In the field Price the user enter a price of the course as a number ex. 100 and in the field Duration the duration of the class again as a number ex. 20. In the last field Difficulty Level we select form the dropdown menu the difficulty of the course.

Suggested Diving Areas

In this section we can select a diving spot that you suggest. Note that this option is for diving spots that already in our database and no for new ones. If you can't find a diving spot from the options you must add the diving spot and then return to the diving school form and choose it. Details for adding a Diving Area are described bellow.

In order to add a suggested diving spot the user must push the button Add another and a form with options appears. In the first option Select Area we select from a drop down menu the area of the spot and in the second option Select Diving Spot the name of the spot.

In order to add a new diving area the user must go in the left side of the menu and choose the option Get Involved and then Add a Diving Area. After that the user will be directed to a form. It is critical to search first if the diving area is already register.

The diving area form have optional and mandatory fields, the mandatory fields are marked with orange color. The fields of the form are describe bellow.

General

In the field Title the user adds the name of the diving spot ex. Kalypso Walls and in the field Area selects from a dropdown menu the area of the spot. In the field Coordinates we must enter the geographical coordinates of the spot in a decimal format ex. 37.25600, 23.54802 and in the field Spot the name of the spot if there is one ex. Bay Stafylos. In the next field Description we enter a small description about the diving spot and in the field Difficulty Level we select from a dropdown menu the difficulty of dive in that area.

In field Features from a list on the left we select for what this area is offered, in the field Min Depth we enter the minimum depth of the spot ex. 50, in the field Max Depth we enter the maximum depth of the spot and in the field Water Temperature the average temperature. In the fields Visibility, Sea Life and Current the user click on the sails for the preferred value.

In this section we can select a diving School that suggests this area. Note that this option is for diving schools that already in our database and no for new ones. If you can't find the diving school from the options you must add the school and then return to the diving area form and choose it. Details for adding a Diving School are described above.

In order to add a school that suggests the area the user must push the button Add another and a form with options appears. In the first option Area we select from a drop down menu the area of the school, in the second option Municipality we select from the menu the municipality of the school that depends on the previous choice and last in the field Diving School we select from menu the diving school.
