Please note that you have to be logged in in order to add a diving school.

Adding a Diving School

In order to add a new diving school go in the left side of the menu and choose the option Get Involved Add a Diving School and you will be redirected to a form.

Please first make sure that the diving school is not already included. In order to do that use the Search field on the top right of the page.

Diving School form

The diving school form include optional and mandatory fields. Orange fields are mandatory as blue fields are optional. All fields of the form are described below.

General

• In the field Title add the name of the diving school eg. Alpha Diving School.
• In the Logo field press the link on the right of the field Upload file and choose image locally. The suggested file size is maximum 300px.
• In the field Description add a small description about the school.
• In the field Founding Year add the year, when school is established.
• In the fields Contact Person and Second Contact Person add the name of the owner and/or a contact person.
• Finally, in the field Training Organization, select from the box the dive organization that your school supports. You could select more than one organization.

Address

• In the first field Area select from the dropdown menu the diving area. There are 9 major areas, which include the municipalities of Greece.You could find here a helping image, with the limits of each area.
• In the field Municipality select the municipality that schools belongs to from the dropdown menu and in the field Post Code add your postal code.
• In the field Street Address add the school’s address.
• In the last section Coordinates add, if this possible, the location coordinates of the school, in a decimal format eg. 37.25600, 23.54802. Press the button Update map in order to update the map and see the location on the map. If the location is not right or if you don't know the coordinates, add the address in the field with the button Look up coordinates and then press the button in order to look for coordinates and update the map.

Contact

In the Contact section you could add the relevant information in order to be reachable from customers. In the last field Url you should enter the full path of your website eg. http://diving.sail-la-vie.com/index.php?title=Help.

Images

You could upload up to 3 images with suggested size of 500px max. On the right side of the field press the link Upload file and then choose image locally. Each image has a caption where you could add a title or a small description.

Available Courses

In the section Available Courses press the button Add another and see the options.

• The first field is Select Organization where you could select from a dropdown menu the dive organization for the course.
• In the field Select Program choose the program of the organization that depending of your previous choice.
• Same for the next field Select Course.
• In the field Price enter the price for the course as a number eg. 100 and in the field Duration the duration of the class as a number too eg. 20.
• In the last field Difficulty Level choose from the dropdown menu the difficulty of the course.

Suggested Diving Areas

In this section you could select a suggested diving spot.

In order to add a suggested diving spot press the button Add another and choose from the options. In the first option Select Area choose from the drop down menu the area of the spot and in the second option Select Diving Spot the name of the spot.

Note that this option is for diving spots that are already included in our database. If you can't find a diving spot from the options, you must add it and then return to this form and follow the steps described above. Instructions on how to add a Diving Area are described below.

In order to add a new diving area you should go in the left side of the menu and choose the option Get Involved Add a Diving Area and you will be redirected to a form.

The diving area form include optional and mandatory fields. Orange fields are mandatory as blue fields are optional. All fields of the form are described below.

General

• In the field Title the user add the name of the diving spot eg. Kalypso Walls and in the field Area choose from the dropdown list the area of the spot.
• In the field Coordinates enter the geographical coordinates of the spot in a decimal format eg. 37.25600, 23.54802.
• In the field Spot add the name of the spot if there is one ex. Bay Stafylos.
• In the next field Description add a small description about the diving spot.
• In the field Difficulty Level choose from the dropdown menu the diving difficulty of this area.
• In Features choose from the list on the left, which activities are offered in this diving spot.
• In Min Depth add the minimum depth of the spot eg. 50, in Max Depth add the maximum depth of the spot and in the field Water Temperature the average temperature.
• In the fields Visibility, Sea Life and Current click on the sails for rating.

Images

In this section you could suggest a Diving School for this area.

In order to add a school press the button Add another. A form with options will be appeared. In the first option Area choose from the drop down menu the area of the school, in the second option Municipality the municipality of the school and finally in Diving School field the diving school.

Note that this option is for diving schools that are already included in our database. If you can't find a diving school from the options, you must add it and then return to this form and follow the steps described above. Instructions on how to add a Diving Area are described above in Adding a New Diving School section.

Edit

Edit Diving School

In order to edit a diving school page you should press Page in the right top menu and choose the third choice Edit with form. The option Edit just right of the title is not appropriate. After that you will be redirected to the form of the page.
